Hey everyone, I'm putting together a special photo project and need a little bit of help narrowing down a typical late '42/Early '43 B-17 Bomber crew uniform impression. I have about 95% of a full Waist Gunner impression that I've collected over the years minus an A-4 flight Suit, F-1 Blue Bunny . Many veterans who wore these for years have lived long and healthy lives, so perhaps it's blown out of proportion, but they were and still are radioactive in any case. Radium paint has a half life of 1600 years, if your watch has tritium paint, it reduces radioactivity to only about 25 years. Attached is a picture of two Pakistani made patches worn by U.S. soldiers. Left one - still unidentified - I took off an OD fatigue shirt, with colored 8th InfDiv patch on left sleeve. The shirt was badly damaged, so I only kept the patches. The right 63rd Armor patch was given to me by a 63rd Armor veteran's son.
