I picked up my first ever DJ36 during a very devastating breakup. I have already decided I was going to buy a Rolex but was feeling very indecisive. But when I found out something upsetting about my ex, I decided it was time to pull the trigger at my local AD. I don’t regret it, but I wish I did more research and took my time.
My only Rolex regret is that I didn't give myself permission to buy a Hulk when you could walk in and haggle. I didn't think I was worth a watch of that value. I got one before the market went totally bonkers but I still missed the MSRP boat. As for not enjoying the silver dial, I personally often experience some buyers remorse/regret after a big purchase. I choose in that moment not to second guess myself and to remind myself of the reasons why I chose it. What are your biggest regrets regarding Rolexes? And at roughly 1/2 the msrp of a new 116610LN there are definitely no regrets! Regret selling my first Sub but needed the cash. Got an amazing deal on an Explorer MK1 and traded it for another 16610. Now I regret not keeping my MK1. I loved the simplicity of the Explorer. It’s actually for sale again, I just can’t justify the price at this time.
